The contest began in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, on Saturday, with the participation of female Quran memorizers from 60 countries.
Ansari is accompanied by her father during her trip to Dubai.
Born in 2003, Ansari is a student of primary education at Farhangian University.
She came second in the category of memorization of the entire Quran at the 46th edition of Iran’s National Quran Competition.
The Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak international Quran competition for women will run until September 13 at the Cultural and Scientific Association in Dubai.
The Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) annually organizes the international Quranic event for women from various countries.
